Being a Game set in London...

…Dirty Bomb should have the Big Ben/Elizabeth Tower/Westminster Clock Tower in it somewhere, but I could never find it.

Until now:
Disclaimer: If it has been found already, I apologise and want you to disregard/lock this thread.

Figured it’d be fun to know that it’s here with us after all!

EDIT: Found the Tower Bridge too. Atleast a tiny bit of it.

(Nail) #2

you mean Elizabeth Tower or the bell inside ?

(_Sniff_) #3

The heck are you holding

(VincentRJaeger) #4

@Nail The Elizabeth Tower, yeah.

@Sniff That’s a molotov. I was in the Private Server mixing around with guns and abilities when I found this.

(Jostabeere) #5

Molotov

(Badger_Commander) #6

Cool, lets blow it up. starts petition for new map.

(Vexed) #7

I know they renamed it recently, but as a lifelong Londoner it will always be the Westminster Clock Tower to me. None of this “Elizabeth Tower” rubbish for me.

(VincentRJaeger) #8

Bagh, details! I edited in the three possible names now anyway : V

EDIT: On another note, I also found the Tower Bridge while looking around. Added to the main post.

(Backuplight) #9

I’d like to see some more iconic stuff as well. The closest we’ll get anytime soon is Dome, I imagine.

(VincentRJaeger) #10

Oh there’s quite a plenty of them! I’ve found The Shard, 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) and the London Eye in the first screenshot. - And as you say, we’ll get the Millenium Dome relatively soon in our game.

(LifeupOmega) #11

So when do we get the map where we push across the Tower Bridge and blow it up along the way?

(TeeKayM) #12

I’m just waiting for a map where we can play in The Shard and shoot the glass underneath

(ChinChill) #13

It’d be cool to have a level where you’re actually running through the underground tracks but given the 7/7 bombings, it’d be insensitive to actually blow up anything there. So I can understand why that’ll never happen!

(Vexed) #14

@ChinChill You say that, but the scrubs trailer shown at E3 depicts Fletcher blowing up a train on Underground. Between the stiff upper lip and the 10 years that have passed, I think we might be considered ready for some virtual explosions on an underground network devoid of virtual civilians.

(ChinChill) #15

@Vexed Maybe. Damn I often forget Splash Damage themselves are British - Americans tend to be more delicate about that sort of thing!

(Vexed) #16

@ChinChill British television has noted that many commuters reacted the exact same way as they did following the announcement of the London Olympics. That reaction ran thus:

“Oh… But how am I going to get home?”

(ChinChill) #17

@Vexed Yeah. Admittedly I avoided watching the new that night; didn’t want to see the images connected to it. It’s similar to when someone tries to commit suicide on the tracks. Causes a hold-up and while you worry about the person who’s in that mental state, most people are used to it and just want to get to their destination on time.
