I think itâs just growing pains that have to be endured right now. I was criticised for having only â5â kills after weâd won an 11 minute match⊠from a Level 8 dude that didnât take into account my medic did all the suicidal reviving while the other medic just stood by downed players focusing on kills.
We may see a change in the next couple of months of the gaming going open beta. I canât help but think back to W:ET when the hardcore players powered through the nubâness and either forced them to rage quit or learn the hard way how to contribute to the team/objectives. That being when the hardcore players were significant enough in number to become game changers when they joined your average pug stalemate match.
I for one think the voice commands helped alot to enable that environment, and we probably need to use them more often. That being said, theyâre not so easy to read at a glance (in terms of getting the hang of) for everyone. I know in my situation Iâm playing on a 51" plasma (cause I can) and the tiny little menu of commands popping up in the top left of the screen is⊠it doesnât inspire me to make the effort to use it like it should, letâs put it that way.
More ârepair the vehicleâ type voice commands during a match would probably go a long way to encouraging the nubs to focus on what is important at that point in the match.
