Beat controls layout??

Im having trouble getting used to all these button like press 3 to pill out ur knife and its hard to throw grenades. So im wondering if anyone can give me there layout that is really easy to use

Just experiment.

You might change knife to your scroll wheel, or mouse3.

I moved the specials (keys 4 and 5) to Q and E, so rather than activating with these keys I select the special and activate with mouse1. This enables me to move freely with the special ready. Trying to prime a grenade AND move while holding the default key is really bad, so this change helped a lot.

Due to the frequency in which you’ll pull out your knife I would highly recommend putting the knife on a mouse thumb button. You not only use it to quickly gib people and to knife people when needed but pretty much every time you run. You get an extra ~20% movement increase with the knife out so it’s going to be used often.

Everything else is just preference. In CS I always have my primary on A and secondary on 2 and nades on g, h, b.

Anybody know why the knife isn’t within the default weapon scroll? One of my favorite things in CS is scrolling through all the weapons rapidly like some crazed animal. I’m just not sure what flaw there was with having it in default scroll and instead making it only accessible via direct keybind. Gotta figure there’s some reason they didn’t go that route.

easy layout? buy mouse with numbers 1-12 on side. :smiley:

but seriously, i made this switch a year or two ago and it makes computer gaming so much easier.
