Halo has always been perfect at launch. We really shouldn’t let this mentality slip. Just like your mom told you “if they would jump off a bridge, would you?”
Jumping off the bridge=making a buggtastic crap game at launch.

Plus the dlc is not too far from release as we all know. It won’t be long.
Slighty off topic. Patriot. Were you in the old Qubenet crew?

Really? They have always been “perfect,” as in no flaws or inconsistencies at all? Well, I have played every Halo and I can tell you sire, that you are a liar.
You are going to an extreme, of course no launch is perfect. But what shooter has had a worse launch. The game was said to be competitive, it is not. The game was said to be ET3 it is nothing like it. All it would have taken was balance and good gun play. That’s really all it needs. They completely went against it at the start and are only now talking about fixing it. They admit they ****ed up. But ultimately that’s not good enough to get the players back.
Also I’ll say Quake Live had a much better launch than any other shooter then again it was in closed/open beta for over a year. You know like an intelligent company would do. Too bad id won’t be able to do that again. And for arguments sake TF2 is another one.
Maybe balance issues or a few glitches here and there. But you could still play the game. There were lobbies. The game worked. No lag. I could invite my friends over to the lobby and play with them.
Here, it’s just a mess.

A “few glitches here and there,” is not “perfect.”
And “the mess” you talk about Brink - how apparently it is “unplayable,” even though I consistently play match after match as do my friends, appears to be selective. I mean if I can play the game fine and people on my friends list are also not having trouble playing, as well as members on this forum, then perhaps your copy of the game came from a bad batch.
Ye and perhaps several hundreds of thousands came from a bad batch. Stfu please you look stupid. You, your friends and this forum is such a small percentage of all the people bought this game. And most of the people on the forum complain about it not working.
Maybe we have different views on “work”. For me “work” means I can find a game where everyone (hopefully) is human and no lag. It also means that I can play with my friends. Those rarely work, and I have yet to play a full match with no lag. It also means that it won’t freeze up.
Maybe work for you means the picture of brink shows up on the tab that says “Play game” on the 360 dashboard.
Funny thing is, 90% of those people not attending to the forum discussions can be considered fail enough to be ignored without any trouble. Mentioning the bloody rage quiting, hack-accusing, casual failbobs are a group of players in this case disqualifies you from any further discussion.
“most of the people on the forum complain about it not working” - Source = your superficial powers of comprehension? The game is working for most players, fyi, even for ATI users as myself. Not always to the best but it’s playable. And what do you even mean by working?
“It also means that I can play with my friends.” - Well, if you are unable to use Steam properly don’t blame SD. Can’t think of any way someone could fail with this, actually.
“I have yet to play a full match with no lag” - What lag, graphic issues or network lags? Well, the graphic issues are not that problematic anymore and the network lags seem to be your personal problem, nothing that makes the game unplayable for us.
“It also means that it won’t freeze up.” - That’s the only thing I can agree on, although it happens one time per evening at max.
But I think I failed here, ignoring that you are a 360 owner. Well, who cares about consoles
Well you cant take away from SD that they are working on releasing Patches for us.
so im confident still.
