Ok im loving the game but surely the two star on this is far far to hard? any help?
Be more objective
hit-and-run the repair, that was the hardest part for me.
Hacking is a bit difficult as well, but you’ve just got to keep turning corners so enemy doesn’t see you.
I thought it was hard until I realized you don’t have to stand right next to the the hack objective after you plant the hackbox.
Your AI teammates aren’t going to do diddly **** and the enemy AI is going to aimbot you if you don’t react to them in 200ms or less and they will continually reinforce at the same ridiculously rate because Splash Damage is too incompetent to adjust respawn times dynamically for map progression. So at the point what I did was find cover near the hackbox and their spawn, just keep mowing them down until there is an opportunity to hack, then find cover and hope the enemy AI is too occupied raping your allied AI to take it off. If one does, obviously, sprint over and kill that fool then go back to cover.
Just don’t trust your bot team-mates. Ever.
As a heavy with a maximus it was really doable.
Solder: Sprint out and plant right away, then fall back towards the spawn to defend. If they disarm it RETRY THE LEVEL.
Engineer: There are two quick ways to get up to the objective.
1. climb up on the boxes just to the right as you leave your spawn and the walk up the stairs
2. climb up near the cp (where you planted the bomb for the first objective)
Just do a little at a time, and switch between the two ways to climb up as the enemies crowd one or the other.
Operative: plant the box and the hide to hack. I never developed a strong strategy for the end, but if you keep trying and do the first 2 fast enough luck will be with you eventually
Your own entrance is the best spot to defend from. Whenever you see the light above you turn on all you have to look behind you to see the bots come around the corner.
Pretty much as listed above:
Make a new character and run be more objective 1:
This will limit the enemy rank to 2, while you’ll probably be level 3 or so. Grab Sprinting Reload, Battle Hardened and Supply Boost. If you have Heavy unlocked, don’t use it. It can’t get to the objectives fast enough.
HE Chage:
Sprint and plant. You can get there fast enough with the light or medium build. You’ll take some hits, but should be able to get it done. Run around the corner and wait until you hear the hiss of the enemy engy disarming the bomb. Pop out and end him. Even if you die it’s ok, since he won’t get a chance to disarm it again. If you can’t plant or it is disarmed, either restart or play around with guns. This objective is pretty much impossible after the first 30 seconds, so you have either 10 minutes of active combat training in a target rich environment or another shot at the rewards.
Swap to engy:
I died after blowing the door. That’s actually good since it’s easy to swap while the enemy transitions to the generator.
Repair the Generator:
Use either of the 2 methods listed above. Watch the kill counter and push after you or your teammates kill 3 enemies. It can take anywhere from 2-4 tries, but suicide runs are ok. Clear out the top level, make sure you have a bot or 2 alive by your side, then repair until you die. Wash, rinse and repeat.
Hack the Vault:
The easiest way to do this is to hop down immediately, swap to operative and then plant the hackbox before running back into the room with the Command Post and hacking from there. You need to get lucky here and hop your bots run good interference. The hack doesn’t take too long, but your bots need to keep the enemy occupied and distracted.
Grab the Key:
From the CP, it’s easy to get into the vault. Exit the room and turn left. There’s a box you can mantle to get up a half floor. Then to the left of that there’s another box mantle that gets you into the vault.
Drop the intel:
From the vault, run out to the left and head back towards your spawn. Then use the boxes to get up on the stairs, sprint to the drop off point and deposit. This is the easiest part of the mission, since you can get there before the enemy even moves from their position around the vault.
It took me at least a dozen tries and a search on youtube, but when I actually finished it it took less than six minutes.
Good luck! The rewards are worth it. It’s very frustrating but extremely rewarding when complete.
