Alright, so I m at that challenge and stuck… and I m not the only one… so me and my friends were thinking: its probably meant to be played together in MP - wrong!
Well, since those challenge things have a kinda tutorial character: “Escort vehicle” - easy peasy, “Jump around and hit lights” - easy peasy, “Defend the spot” - easy peasy… I am really thinking what made Splash Damage make this challenge so different… it clearly comes along with the same tutorial feeling meaning: “Learn how to properly manage the objctives for each class”.
So here is what Im doing:
I insta blow the door, switch class, run up the stairs, shoot the bots in the back, set up a turret at the repair-objective, rep the thing (maybe die 2,3 times) and just spam-rep it until its finished… I have about 7 minutes left to do the hack obj. and it wont work out ffs.
My bots seem to not cover me at all… but the worst thing is: Enemy base entrance is directly in line of sight with the hack obj…
So either I shoot the constant flow of bots, or I hack (getting shot in the back).
Spam-hacking wont work, cause they remove the hackbox rather fast… What was SD thinking? Or is it an oversight in balancing? It honestly feels like 1vs5… I am not even dying often when I focus on fighting. No, the bots fall like flies, but I run out of ammo quick, and as soon as I am back from refilling at the com, the bots are back again…
sigh

and the link to mine:)
