I wish I could see the shock and despair in their eyes as I stick them in the chest with the blade. Maybe some sort of close-up, real-time event.
Make it look like this:
Except I don’t wanna be a Nazi, just a fascist Security guy.

You think being Nazi is something bad, but being a fascist is ok? Hope I really got that wrong… Oh dear.
On topic:
Too bad it screws the spread really hard:/ With frontgrip and muzzle the carb is ok, but the bayonet crosses the line to “the lotto”
when u have a bayonet equiped it means u want to get close and personal anyway
i dont feel that much difference with accuracy but i start using my richis anyway if the enemy is more then 30 meters away
Might have to try the bayonet on my rokstedi, there are always times when a close up battle surprises you on the move.
with the bayonet attached, when you slide into someone it does extra damage. enough said.
Sweeeeet, it still surprises me how many people still don’t use melee attacks close up. I mean ok so your not going to always remember to use SMART to slide attack but just a simply knife/rifle butt is quite powerful.
The “fascist” part was a joke based on what the Res say when you friendly fire at them:
“What, do I look like a fascist?”
Wait, WHAT!?!?! Makes surprised Scooby Doo sound.
Damn, I wasn’t going to use the bayonet because I don’t use the melee attack that often, but I do slide into people all the time…
Argh… strategy… changing… head… hurt…
Seriously though, thanks for that info!

I was hoping that I could melee mid-slide and stab someone in the crotch but I guess the automatic knife damage+knockdown is easier to execute anyway… and you get that gory little sound with it to. Me like audio cues.

Ahhh I see.
Great find with the knife boot
I love sliding into people with the bayonet, lol when i first saw the knife damage being done and told the rest of my party everyone started doing it
i remember when me and wolf slid into each other and i won the collision lol
I have been loving the bayonet, have it on almost half my guns that can use it, really love it on SMGs as its just a bazai rush and finishing them off with a melee but if they arent dead I still have atleast half a clip to keep them down. And sliding got way funner! Use it with a lot of my silenced weapons as well, prob my fav new thing with the DLC!
Freakin Wolf was Bayo-sliding me like a mad man last night. I would return the favor with some Sea-Eagle downed fire…
I tried the bayonet and it is indeed fun.
However, the accuracy loss from using it is not worth the increased melee attack. How often do you shoot your gun verus how often do you melee? Back to front grips for me.
I will be experimenting with the medium/heavy soldier today. The light with the carb (w/ front grip and muzzle vent) is still decently effective. The AR’s don’t seem to be as useful to me as they should. Not sure why.
Just stabbed 4 guys in a row on resort. The knockdown + twohit kill is very effective! As resistence on the 2nd obs i went through the CP, stabbed a sniper in the water and climbed up behind security spawn. They were lined up firing at the bridge and didnt notice me stabbing one after another
