Battle of Wolken 6 [beta 1]

OK it’s finally here, the first release of Wolken6, the was intended for 6 on 6 stopwatch and has been tested a fair bit in these conditions, while it’s not quite there yet it still should make for ok match, any suggestions pm me or something.

Battle of Wolken 6: Portal

Background

Allied forces are preparing to launch a major attack on one of the 3 Portal sites that are located within Wolken, currently under Axis occupance. In order to succeed they must first knock out the reinforced anti-tank gun. Under the cover of darkness Allied engineers were able to construct a special explosive device in order to do this, but the Axis managed to stop them arming it. Now Allies must find a way of getting the device operational again and blow the antitank gun in order to gain control of the site.

Objectives

1)Capture the Forward Spawn
2)Destroy the Main Entrance
3)Destroy the Side Entrance
4)Build the Command Post
5)Deliver the special dynamite to the explosive device
6)Arm the explosive device with the key card

nice screens! nice map! i looked at your other maps, and got a good idea for a 7th map.
if u look at the 5th map u see this zeppelin thing… what about making a map where u fly with that ship, and then the allies also got a ship, and they meet and they attack each other and they need to capture each others ship. like in pirat movies

There will be no 7th map with ET, the project will live on in future games though with a bit of luck, check out the website for details, http://wolken.gamedesign-online.com/

Thanks for comments, I also got a collection of high res images of most aspects of the map, you can find them here thanks to ag0n for making them.

It isn’t even released yet, anyway I’m not sure how you would go about making your idea anyway, sounds tough to do :smiley:

on your site by concept art you explain a new weapon which is attached to the users arm and has a built-in MP-40

Was that ever released in ET or does it remain just a cool idea?

That will be for the Battle of Wolken mod which is a long way away, for now I’m just expanding my skills which involves producing some maps for ET:QW, I think I’ll be waiting for new wolfenstein game for the mod as it should contain most of the game assets I need for what I got planned.

Seriously, When I played the slipgate map my first thoughts were: OMG they stole this idea from the Battle of Wolken maps… :smiley:

Latest news I got was that rtcw2 is still pretty much in pre-alpha stage… So It could take another year or more before it will be released.

I hope you will consider building this theme ( battle of wolken) for ETQW, I think they would be perfect maps for this game…

There is one Wolken map planned for ET:QW that is on my website , I will be attempting a smaller map first though to get acquainted with all the new stuff.

Yeah I know I’ll be waiting long time for RCTW2 but while I wait, I’ll be just lending a hand mapping wise for a couple of mods, thats providing they take me on…
