can anyone show me a good tutorial on how to make a script_mover that can be damaged and repaired like a tank, i checked the mapping rescorces area, and cant find the beginning stages of it, hope some one gives me a good one lol
Basics of a tank
ok ive been looking at it, what is a model2 hey and all?
Edit: also it asks to place a func_constructable, where do u place it and how do u get it to follow the tank so if it gets damaged u can repair it again, and i have looked at the goldrush tank and that didnt help me none, the LDR has helped more then anything, thanks again for showing me that lol, but could someoen answer my func_constructable question?
Only the trigger_multiple which detects when the tank is escorted, and the trigger_objective_info entites should follow the tank. The rest of the entities are linked using the target + targetname.
Its confusing that the func_constructible behaves like a brush in this respect.
The model2 key is used when the model you want to have displayed is in a md3 or ase file.
ok, i didnt not understand a thing about the md3 and models lol, do u know of a good tutorial that is for noobs that deal with this, im still alittle confused.
I don’t know of any tutorial, that really explains this. The only place is really the LDR, which states this using one or two sentences.
lol, i know, but i dont understand muc yet about all of the funcs and stuff, ive only learned a few things, and there is still alot i dont know, for example, i can make an mg gun, but its not solid and u cant fire it, and i have no clue what it is, sorry to sound so tupid but im still in the beginning stage and this is the first time ive ever done mapping, so there is alot of things i dont understand and well yeah lol. Tutorials mainly help me alot cause i see actaully screenshots of where things should be placed and all, thats y im asking for some, and i know that they r hard to find cause i cant find any either
