The mobile version of the forums runs TextEx by default instead of BBCode. You can’t perform any of the actions mentioned in the OP on the mobile site.

Any idea how to change your post from TextEx to bbcode when you get home? For some stupid reason I can’t even edit it at home because the whole post wants to stay as TextEx even if I delete everything in the post. I’ve never been on such a buggy forum.

@PurpleNurple Pretty sure you have to start the post as a BBCode post. Perhaps request the desktop site when you’re mobile?

It’s really just the forums being very lacking.

@Jesus the same way you do any emoticon but use the word trollface as the modifier.

Just in case you don’t know how to use emojis, basically just put a word inbetween a pair of semicolons (:).
