i just rented an et server and im not that good with ftp acces but can somebody explain me how to get running banners on the server i know a bit of the servers config

it depends on the mod version you are running on how to set that up, check the mods documentation on it :stuck_out_tongue:

well thanks for the info now the server runs et-pro version 2.60 i can remember me that

i had ones a server with running banners on it and it was a et-pro server to but i dont know who placed the banners on yhe server or how he did it !!

thats why i placed that post and i hope somebody can help me

there is the etadmin_mod which has etpro support and can add banners to your server> http://et.d1p.de/etadmin_mod/ <among other nice features, maybe that will help you out :stuck_out_tongue:

You don’t need etadmin_mod to have banners in etpro. Check out the example.cfg in your etpro directory.

can somebody tell me where i can download the lill script to have the killing spree messages on the server ??

The simplest way to do that in etpro is etadmin_mod. I’m not aware of any ‘lighter’ scripts that do the same thing. Some of the other mods (etpub) may include killing sprees etc in the actual game code…
