Got banned from a server where i was playing terminal and we won and at the end the server kicked me n said i am banned.I tried restarting the game but no use. I noticed a lot of server issues these days like timing out of a server when my connection is in good condition.

If you get vote kicked from a server you can’t rejoin for a bit right? I think it happened to me once from high ping. It still lets you join other servers right?

yeaaa but no votes were called… i can join other servers but still most of my friends play on that server.So it is annoying!!! My ping was not too high too… around 100

I had the same happen to me a few days ago. The second I loaded up, I was banned. Couldn’t rejoin.

Some people call a vote to boot you while you’re in the lobby. It shows you in the game on their end but people think you’re AFK even though you’re simply switching mercs/loadouts and the game is still trying to load you in if you have a slower PC. I see this a lot and vote no and usually mention that they are obviously in the lobby still (0 on the scoreboard).
Also, I’ve seen people farming levels (lol) and they will vote kick players instantly who join servers that might interfere with their farming.
And if you are vote kicked you are banned for 30 minutes I believe from that one server.

What i found out that this is only temporary ban because of your ping. In few hours you can try connecting to that server and you will not be banned anymore.

I’ve never heard of this in DB as I’ve seen a lot of players with super high pings and they don’t get booted. It’s worth investigating though.

My connection is usualy ok, but from time to time it is realy bad. 500+ for few seconds. Wireless ftw 
I never had problems with that, just waited few seconds and everything was back to normal.
But last month i been banned on 3 servers. Usually happen when i got high ping, get kicked (there were no votes, confirmed by friends who were on same team) and banned. I get same message as Occult posted.
I have wrote down time, map and server name where i was when this happen. After few hours, or next day i could join on all (previously banned) servers without any problem. That is why i think it is only temporary ban to prevent players with bad connection playing?

It’s funny. I got autobanned form a server for a 300 ping on a South AM server once. While I frequently come across people with 500+ on EU and they get nothing for it…Not even rare occasions of a damn 988 ping don’t receive an automatic kick.
