Banned for a third party program?

Today, at about 4:30 PM, I got a message saying I was banned for using a third party program. I had a skype call going and google chrom running with Cookie Clicker doing stuff. My Nvidia program was running, and that’s about it in terms of big programs. Why? What happened?

XIGNcode is a king of false positives. I would submit your case to Nexon support. Their tolerance policy(zero) may hurt you here though.

I am very sad! I paid money ! I never cheat … support does not help me ( no answer) and i do not know what to do :frowning:

it ran only Advanced SystemCare , Norton, Nividia , GOG galaxy in the background

Definitely not Nvidia, I run that all the time for shadowplay. It sounds like it might be Advanced SystemCare that caused it, as GOG Galaxy looks harmless when I looked it up and ASC is a regeditor/process monitor and manipulator. Probably what triggered the autoban by XIGN.

Is there an official list of whitelisted/blacklisted third party applications?
Currently using SweetFX for the game, hope that’s safe.

Using SweetFX with the game, hope that ain’t a problem. Also got some other stuff installed for various singleplayer games, but these are not running while playing anything else of course.

Nividia Update Program was open and GOG galxy is a shop for games , I buy at GOG Galxy a game … SystemCare 's just a cleaning program … sorry for bad english

There is no full whitelist/blacklist that I am aware of. I do know that Nexon is looking into replacing XIGN with a different program. Not sure what the results of that search is though.

I looked up SweetFX and it seems to look ok, as it only changes existing settings.

@eagerSaber It is the way that ASC goes about cleaning things up that most likely triggered the ban. It isn’t about what it does, it is about how it does it. That is what triggers a false positive.

I can’t speak for Nexon and I haven’t had any run into issues that required urgent response, so I really can’t help you there.

Friend of mine has the same probelm.

Nexon support chat was like ->
-Sorry you got to wait 2 days.
-NO wie can not help you.
-NO we can not even give you a hint on whihc program caused the issue.
Woe! Hooray for this kind of support!!!

Now my friend is in constant fear that the issue shows up again…

It should be fairly obvious which program caused the false positive if you investigate what the programs actually do on your PC. If you provide a list I would be happy to look through it and point out potential problems.

I had steam, skype, and chrome going. Dolphin.exe was running due to a bug. Could that be it?

I don’t believe so, based on what very little research I did on the program. And steam Skype and chrome are all good, or we would have had much bigger problems by now. You could have a process running in the background that you were unaware of/forgot about.
