BananaSlug is bad at being knight

you probably have better things to do that reading this

i am going to tell you a story about be being a knight for 2h.
soo there was an event in city cold Gdańsk, “city days” or something like that and i was participating in it!
and there was like that medieval camp, i was there for like 2h walking and doing medieval stuff. it was first time when i was wearing clothes made by me, it wasn’t that bad (it was). part of the event was that all ppl from that camp will make a parade, soooo i worn an armor for the first time! i was walking in it for 2h my shoulders were dying because of the armor same for neck, helmet that i was wearing weights about 6kg  but it wasnt all that bad, i even managed to help other ppl (tourists, hikers, citizens and such) wear helmets, armors, talk about weapons that we had (one guy was trying to tell me that long sword weights 70kg o.O) then i came back to home went sleep and… then i realized that wearing that chest plate wasn’t the best idea because i am weak and such, i really couldn’t bend my back

that is why i am bad knight

P.S. i wanted to give you guys a picture soo you can make fun of me but i didnt found any, maybe later

I say give it time. I think you would get used to the weight if you wore it enough times. I bet you can understand why knights did not wear their armor all the time.

nope, people were the same, now in army i think they are carrying even more shit, its just because i am only 15, and you probably know how carrying shit in that age is

They were not the same , Knights starting their training at the age of 7 , they learned to master all kinds of weapons , axes , two hand swords , lances etc. Every day it was all kinds of excercices , wrestling , mount climbing , long walks , sparring with other pages etc. Their had to fight with heavy backpacks to get accustomed to the weight of the armor. At the age of 21 they were sent to battlefields , sieges, common occurrences in medieval. It was a lifetime training

Soldiers learn to handle all kinds of weaponry too. They just don’t start as early because you can’t trust a kid with a bazooka.

I find that true strength takes time to develop. i think the elders tend to be stronger because they have had the time to get stronger.
