Yes this is another thread about Aura/Medics. I believe she needs a little tweaking. I play her a lot and have obviously played a lot against her, so I’m not basing this on just one game.
The main issue is the medic station and I know you’ve heard it all before but it is overpowered when used well. The main way to completely hold an objective or dominate a game is to place a medic station behind cover or round a cover and simply run in and out of the station/cover. By doing this you basically have God mode. You pop out of cover kill one or two, loose health and pop back into the med station and boom 100 hp almost instantly, then repeat. Come on, I know you’ve all seen it. The most sensible way of tweaking this would be making HP regen from medic stations slower or by having a few seconds wait before receiving health from the station.
Another issue would be reviving. I know instant reviving has been part of this game and ET for years however that isn’t really the issue, in my opinion you shouldn’t be able to revive a chain of players. What I mean is reviving one player after another. For example, I got a triple earlier then Aura arrived revived the first guy, he starts shooting and then revived the other 2 and I die. That should not happen, I basically got punished for getting a triple. I would have gotten the drugs and won the game. A way to tweak this could be adding a few seconds between the revival of teammates, simple.
What do you guys think? How would you tweak Aura as surely she’s not fit in her current state? When do you think the next update to balancing will come?
