Balancing Fragger's loadout

Howdy people, Thunder Pro here.

I wrote this discussion because I just wanted to suggest single idea about Fragger’s loadout augment switch.

So, the fact that I never played BR-16 Fragger, I am sorry I couldn’t involve its card here since I have absolutely 0 experience with it. (Even never used BR with other mercs.)

Anyway, we all know best loadout for M4 Fragger is M62 Power Rifleman, and for K-121, K51 Power Gunner, Right?

and here is the thing, the reason why M62 is considered as best is because M62 loadout have both Explodendyron AND Unshakeable, which means it has both ‘tankyness’ and ‘advanced grenade’, right?

Furthermore, Fragger with Unshakeable augment makes him sustain even his own grenade’s max damage.(Used to be 150 x 0.8 = 120 so 30HP remaining, but still 180 x 0.8 = 144, so he still stays alive from it, with 6HP.)

Thus, what I’m suggesting is ‘How about we change the Focus and Unshakeable?’

I mean, I think machine gun Fragger deserves more ‘Tankyness’ than M4 Fragger. So how about we maintain M4 Fragger’s ‘Powerful Grenade’ and instead, take ‘Focus’ from machinegun Fragger? those two loadouts already have Cool on both, so…

I really do think M62 is so powerful even til now, because even I was originally K51 user(did 6000 kills with K-121 before using M4), but I tasted M62’s OPness and switched to it too. (Indeed, you guys can call me a traitor)

What do you think I really do think machine gun Fragger needs at least one defensive option. Can’t understand why K-121 Fragger is squishy than M4 Fragger due to its play style…

Unshakeable took a hit in it’s overall usefulness as an augment with the removal of most of the instabigs on explosives. The main reason why people used the M4 in the first place was to get Unshakeable and that was back when Fragger had two grenades that could be launched with extreme speed from across a map. All of that has been changed/nerfed now so Unshakeable was already starting to take a bit of a hit and people were migrating back over to the LMG who like it better (as opposed to being forced to play with the M4). Now with the removal of most instagibs and the reduction in explosion radius you can survive or at least not be gibbed out without having Unshakeable. It’s definitely not a worthless augment and still quite good but it’s main purpose, to survive a direct nade hit or not be gibbed by it, has been taken away.

But as a K121 player myself I’d definitely love to see more options. I’m simply hoping for more cards at some point.

Recently, as you said I am a salmon who wants to use K-121 again like you or the others, simply because I don’t really like rifles and also I’m quite sick of M4.

Anyways, I’ve seen how much you performed with K-121 at the other thread. Respect to machine-gun Fragger expert Amerika(Really, how do you reach over KDA 4? I can barely achieve to 3.5…thought I was good but no sadly). Really do agree with the point ‘’(as opposed to being forced to play with the M4)’’ here. M62 is still so hella good though…

What I’m expecting about more loadouts or options, I would like to have ‘Spares’ option. Really, I insist 55/55 is main reason of ammo shortage of K-121 Fragger.

But I think even those gibs were removed, splash damage is still quite harsh(may be even more because of damage buff) for K51 compared to M62. I do really want Unshakeable with my K-121 Fragger. May be I could play more aggressive with it.
