Haven’t played for about 1 week and then the first match…joined in a random “just started match”
We won? Ofc not
Don’t get me wrong, in over 10 months I never complained about balance but since javelin’s upload I miss min lvl 10 servers

Could’ve been that people left before you got there and only lower levels were able to fill the team.
Shame on them for not calling a shuffle.
Stopwatch is reserved for the worthy. Don’t join if you can’t hang with the best of 'em. Seriously though, it’s SW and not a pre-made system. You can’t expect much. I’d personally like minimum 25 servers.
Just leave if you don’t like it, basically what I’ve started doing…I’m not good enough to carry teams so instead of feeding other people free points I just move onto the next game.
I don’t know why you’re expecting balance on stopwatch…typically people are going to vote no so they have a easy match.
Server browser ≠ CMM
Teams created for server browser in lobby or when shuffle vote passes are mostly based on recent win/loss AFAIK.

Yeah you are right about that, when I joined there were 3 or 4 in team AND one open call for shuffle :). After that there was some shuffle call but no one voted( I vote only for kick calls)

I wish at least a min lvl 10 server with a free spot xD . Well I have to play sw because there is no more objective and cmm is not really for me

I know that you mean, I started doing that myseft, but I have to change about 4/5 servers for a match/or a good server.
With " balance" I just mean having same numbers as enemies and people who know what they have to do( they should know at least the map…). Is not like I’m looking for insta win, just something called a " match " and not r@pe from every side that makes you thing "Where the fack are my mates!!! " or " Why there are 3 Vassili and no medics? "

This is a fresh ss from about 1h ago, 1 sec after shuffle (no one left or joined ).Makes you thing that shuffle is useless. And ofc it is because always(or almost) is worst after shuffle .
People do not want easy wins. Bad players do.
People do not insta vote no to shuffles. Shuffles are often called on wrong time.
Manual switch is always better than shuffles. Give an incentive for players to switch, especially on 5v7 scenarios.
That being said, you can’t balance server browser, but it’s true that sometimes, MM just puts high LVL on same team.
There are unbalanced games you can carry. I either practice my aim or leave if the experience is not enjoyable at all.
I don’t think much can be done by SD. MIN LVL servers might help.
Could be as @Lord_Coctus says you joined a match in progress which was only able to back-fill lower level players, or higher players joined and then left straight after. From looking at players’ XP I imagine at least four people dropped out of that match and those spots were back-filled which then caused issues. Granted, having a selection of lower levels on the team isn’t going to help, but to be fair, if a high level player joined that match they probably would have ducked out rather than staying, which just makes the match even worse.
Not too sure what we can do fix resolve this issue. Hopefully it doesn’t happen too much. As much as it’s on us to improve the system (which is a top priority), responsibility also falls on our players to stay in and battle it out.

Well newbies should be forced to play in max lvl 6, this can help a lot. Being outnumbered( i don’t count newbies 1-5 lvl as part of team) is as well unbalanced. And as you said MIN Lvl servers might help(ofc not in all matches because there is always someone better but most of matches are fine,at least for me), the problem is to find them. In last 3 days I still haven’t played a min lvl 10 server becase they are full or empty

Yeah like Lord coctus said there was a mass quit after the first plant, is “normal” when there is a successful plant in the first minute of the game.
The problem are the guys who joined after me,because 2 lvl 1 is a BIG nerf for our team. I don’t care if I have to play a game with half of objectives done but at least I want someone alive in team

I don’t blame the dvs about this,in all games I played there was unbalance. I’m used to mmos and there unbalance is real . I know matches start quite well( about 70% of matches are fine in sw/rip objective) but the quitters/afkers/newbies/players who troll or using new mercs make the matches fucked off and you really can’t do anything about this.

2 SS from today. Played 4 matches in 3 servers . 1 Was good,1 was "balanced " but no one restarted it for a good match (even though there was a call for restart with 2 votes) and 2 just pretty unbalanced(joined in " just started matches)
There should be something like an “unbalance” sensor which forces a shuffle and/or map restart after certain criteria. I don’t blame people who suddenly have something better to do and leave after a game has started. So if a lot of people would leave or the skill difference between the teams (performance-wise, not levels) has gone beyond a certain point, the server would announce the detection of unbalanced teams and ask for players to switch. If nothing happens there would be a short count-down until a shuffle happens and a restart if there have already been objectives taken.
The parameters for that would need to be set very carefully to leave players time to react. And it should really be announced, so stuff don’t just happen and players can learn from it. I understand that it is not easy when there are friends queuing up together, it could be tried first with remaining the group intact and then it would split them apart, teaching players to find a new match. I’d rather value the experience of everyone in a match than just to keep those playing together in a team.
I don’t think a shuffle needs a democratic vote (I am Swiss, we usually love votes), because a few can break a fair decision if based on such a low number of voters.
On my Battlefield server admin times, I fooled around some time with the balancers (3rd party plugins). What I learned is balance is very hard to archieve even if you have good player performance metrics available as Battlefield does.
Only way to archieve balance and good matches in my opinion is to put the skilled (usually high level) players to play on servers of their own and let the inexperienced players play against each other. By default, but not force (except prevent skilled joining newbie servers).
This way the new players wouldn’t get that discouraged getting slammed in their face by skilled players, but if they were like old ET players and found it steam rolling they could hop into the skilled players games and try out their claws. It might bring some sense of balance to the skilled player servers as there wouldn’t be so many inexperienced players enjoying the scenery.
I think the max level 5 servers were a great idea, but as the game is “difficult to learn” and levels 1-5 are damn fast to earn, it might’ve been “max level 5” and “max level 10” and even “max level 15” servers. It might of course present problems for filling up the servers, but I don’t have enough data about the player base to really contribute to that.

You can’t whine about open server balance, where someone can leave and join any time. All screens came from stopwatch mode which IMHO should also be unlockable at level 7 like ranked (or SW lvl 10 and Ranked 15).
There is no game in the world where this problem with balance doesn’t happen.

Lvl 1 players should just stick to casual mode. I really hope they make the server browsers at least lvl 15 for players to access
