The trainyard wagon is the second objective you have to blow up on the trainyard map. Imo it is kinda not fair you can place mines into the wagon, but no healthstation and no turrets. This should be changed. Proxies are spamming the wagon with mines every match on this map and you can’t dodge them. you have to run around and shoot the mines while the enemies have a really easy target.
It should be changed and mines shouldn’t even placed into the wagon. either this or it should be changed the other way and other objects like healthstation should be able to be placed into the wagon.
I mean, why can’t I put a healthstation there? Are the insides made of some stupid nanomachines preventing the healing?
Balance issue: Trainyard wagon.
Fletcher stickies will remove them and soon stoker will be perfect for it. Doesn’t need a change imo.
So you have to play Fletcher or Stoker to counter something? Doesn’t sound fair to me actually. It’s like “You have to play merc X to be able to counter merc Y”.
It still doesn’t make many sense why mines are the ONLY objects you can place there.
@laudatoryLunch
No you don’t have to play it, but you will need someone on your team playing it. Yes pub games never have the perfect class balance but there should always be a counter based on what the enemy are using, that’s the obvious way of dealing with it. Dirty bomb does a good job of balancing mercs vs other mercs one will always counter the other making it more skill based. I get your issue but I think it’s just down to how you play personally dude, some people will have your view point and others will share mine. Neither of us are wrong but the fact it creates debate warrants attention.
It’s not just a question of counters and balance, it’s an issue of consistency: why is that area off-limits to some deployables but not others? There is no intuitive reason right now.
Fletcher and Nader can easily counter them. Rhino does’t have to worry. Anyone with Untrackable and some speed can just trigger them and run past. In most cases you can shoot them if you look in the right angle. As for no heal stations and turrets, while I don’t see anything wrong with having a turret inside having a heal station and Rhino inside would be kind of broken.
But up to 2+ mines in a close quarter you need to rush most of the time and you physically can’t dodge (Rhino is killed by mines, too. They’re dealing more than 200 HP dmg)
Oh and Nader or Fletcher could deal with a Rhino+ healthstattion. Double-standards.
Probably because mines are easier to counter than other deployables, especially due to the fact that it’s in a carriage with no means of putting them in unsuspected locations.

A single mine does 150, max. 2 mines could kill Rhino but than you wouldn’t have any mines to replace them. To kill someone rushing through with Untrackable you’d have to spread out your mines so they’re close enough to trigger each other, but that also means they can both be destroyed.
As for Nader or Fletcher taking out Rhino + Heal Station, yeah, this is true. But I can take out mines without Nader or Fletcher.
As gg2ez says, Mines are easier to counter.

If a single mine is dealing only 150 damage, why am I dying to a single mine as a full HP Rhino?
This is pretty much wrong. A mine definitely does more damage.
