Is there any chance that we could get separate forums for each platform?

Or you could add an additional tag feature so that we can put what platforms we play brink on?

Or people could just start adding this information to signatures to avoid confusion?

I just think if everyone knew what background the others came from then there would be less uncalled for arguments.

Is there any chance we can have Xbox, PC, PS3 subforums?

Would be simpler if people would just ‘tag’ their threads if it’s aimed at a specific platform. For example:

[PC] Brink thread
[PS3] Brink thread
[X360] Brink thread

I’ve got the game on PC and PS3 so I’d prefer to read all the info I’m interested about in one place instead of going through sub-forums.

While I find the reason to this pathetic, I agree. Not because Wolf gets his panties into a bunch, but because every forum has this.

>PC issues go to the pc subform.
>360/PS3 go to theirs.
>General stuff were all 3 have something in common go into general.

But something tells me that wolf would make an alt where he would claim he plays brink on pc and attack people there.

We are looking at this, yes.

(N̵͎̙̗̫͔̮̪̣̞̠͖̹ͤ̂̒) #5

Surprised it wasn’t here from the start.

It would help alleviate some inherent misunderstandings that happen on the forums when the dividing lines between acceptable threads are invisible.

Nope I’m nick 1021.

What is this, like the 4th ip ban???
No. I would not do that. And who are you? Never seen you post before. Are you some ninja medic I should look out for? Welcome to the forums.
he is nick1021 you might know him… he got banned again and created a second account. (see the rahdo thread)

(knippon) #9

it’s just 2 completely different games. split up the forums so each faction can benefit without interference from the other.

(wolfnemesis75) #10

I suspected it was him. but thanks, brother.

(AnthonyDa) #11

We are all playing the same game (same features/gameplay), I don’t see why you should separate us.

because you can’t behave.

+1 vote for subforum. will be easier to identify the trouble when they arise too.

(tangoliber) #14

I’m against more subforums. This forum isn’t all that active.

If there is something that is platform specific (which is rare), then we can just tag our posts like goo said.

I suggested enabling platform tags on all the forums, instead of just the “Brink Community Tech Help” forum. I think that would solve the problem without having to create a bunch of new subforums.

This could work.

(tangoliber) #17

Yea, that would work…though I think it would need to be optional, since most topics are not platform specific.

In my experience, when you add a console subforum, then console players get flamed for posting on the PC board at all…even in topics that aren’t platform specific.

I think there’s an all option. If there’s not there should be.
