It’s been a while since the last baconET version was released (0.2 was released over a month ago). If all goes as planned, the new version will be available for both Windows and Linux on Friday.
This version will contain a player guide as well as an admin guide, so both players and admins know what’s changed and how to utilize these new changes.
Excluding a bug-fixed version that will follow in a week or so, this will be the last version for a long time. This is so I can focus on other projects I’m working on. I’ll need servers running it so I can fix more bugs!

ADDED: Players can play dead (command: playdead).
ADDED: Admins can disable XP (cvar: b_disableXP).
ADDED: Added the death messages from RtCW Test1.
ADDED: Added weapon - Browning Automatic Rifle (M1918A2) .
ADDED: Added weapon - Mauser.
ADDED: Added new gametype - Tag.
ADDED: Allied Field Ops now get the BAR.
ADDED: Covert Ops now gets the Mauser.
ADDED: Servers can use the RtCW weapon stats (cvar: b_rof).
ADDED: Removed unneeded cvars (b_redLandmines, b_foThrowDist), and changed others (b_blueLandmines, b_medicThrowDist). New cvar names: b_maxLandmines, b_throwDist.
ADDED: Admins can now specify if they want to use armor (cvar: b_armor).
ADDED: Players cannot kick/mute a host-clan member (cvar: b_clantag).
ADDED: Covert Ops’ get decoy weapons, that they can shoot. Decoy weapons do no damage.
FIXED: Fixed the bug that would crash the server when damage was received (when the client code is present).
FIXED: b_recoil now works as it was intended (turning recoil on/off).
FIXED: When a muted player is granted referee access, they are unmuted.
FIXED: When a player tries to kick or mute a referee, all players are notified.
FIXED: Stamina bar cannot recharge underwater.
FIXED: b_startskill no longer requires the player to get XP.
FIXED: Player shoving now works, but still needs some tweaking.

KNOWN BUGS

  • b_rof doesn’t work.

When a covert ops uses the decoy weapon he CANNOT cycle down or the client will crash. He can cycle up though

Some nice features To bad you can’t fix, or remove that decoy bug.

I had given it a cvar so admins can turn it off, and default it to 0 until I fix the bug, but now I’ve fixed it so this cvar will be set to 1 (b_decoy).
The bug was with all bank6 weapons, and it was caused by having a 0 weapon followed by a weapon that was in bank 7, which was causing it to crash the client.

Since my host is down, we’ll have to wait for it to be posted on fileplanet, I submitted it on Thursday.
