Backgrounds! Camden/Waterloo/Whitechapel/LondonBridge

(Paul) #1

Hey Guys,

First batch on some wallpaper’s - please drop any feedback to improve any new ones I can make  I accept request for ideas as well.

All screenshots are 1920x1080 (full HD), click on the image to get to the full version. I know on the bottom left it looks ugly like hell so I’d suggest just putting icons over it

REMEMBER THE BACKGROUNDS ARE STILL UNDER NDA - so don’t distribute them outside these forums.

Looks good

From where did you lift the logo?

nice stuff Paul

That’s wide angle distortion you get from using a larger FOV. If it bothers you but want to keep that large FOV, you may just want to avoid tiles and other linear patterns in the corners and the near field as these tend to make the distortion more obvious.

That being said, nice pictures! I especially like the framing / compositions on the last 6. What’s the trick to remove the HUD completely?

Yeah, I’m curious about that too…??? At first I though it was the one from the Nexon site, but yours is like twice the size with no resizing artifacts…

Nicked the logo somewhere from google  It was a 4000xsomething resolution. Would be better if Nexon or SD would publish some normal logo’s (transparent) ones so it’ll look better

Found it, thanks for the hint :D.

The smaller one on the Nexon site is a PNG with transparency, but the grid area between the letters is not transparent (white) :frowning:

What saves it is that since these logos are B&W, they are easy to apply over anything as a multiplication layer…

Thanks, these new ones look right.

I prefer the locations of the other ones though - hope you could remake them one day
