I have a key in my worldspawn called “Music”. Then i have the sound and everything. When i test the map it plays fine until I swap teams, then it stops playing. I want it to loop the whole time.

i think thats the way its builded
its autocancel when limbo is hitted and i dont think there is anything u can do about it
maybe the others can enlight u with something i dunno about it
Is there actually real support for background music?
It’s a Q3 feature, but it wasn’t used in RTCW anymore (that game used marvelous scripted sound).
Thanks Guys. What would you rather have a Map with war sounds in the Bck that stop when swaping teams or no sounds at all?
No sounds. If I want some extra background sound, I listen to some music while playing ET 
For a global sound you might also try to deploy a target_speaker somewhere high up in the skybox and
experiment with “looped_on” “wait” and “global”. Note that “global” makes the sound play everywhere
with it’s given volume - even inside buildings.
But a looped sound with a high range, lower volume and no_pvs activated just might be what you’re
looking for in order to supply outside areas with ambience sound while keeping underground buildings
and bunkers silent.
At least that would me my way of dealing with the sound-stops-on-limbo issue.

Look at Xposed by SteelRat. I don’t know if he has released the source or not. Also look at Radar, the rain / thunder lasts the whole map. That should show you what to do. Look in radar.sps
