well im running
OS = xp
GFX=ATI 4800
CPU=I7 quad core cpu overclocked to 4 GHz
MEM=6GiG (but only running 32 bit XP so only 3 GB Available)
Did the ati fixes both game updated , havent tweaked my config to much jsut tried lowering recommeded settings
Im getting depending on what map how big the area between a defo 40+ fps to 60 fps
But in the smaller areas of maps E.g Aquarium in the cellar area with he pipes etc Steady 60 -70 fps. i enjoy it there as long as fps is above 60 the game is smooth.
I know im held back by my card that is nealry 3-4 years old , and the fact that im on a old xp thats not greatly running at the moment, for me! and im not running 64 bit.
But i would hope that win 7 update , and anew ati card 200- 300 £ would increase my fps to 80-100+ fps stable.
As long as my fps is above 62 static or higher the game is smooth , as long as it stays above your monitor refresh rate it will be smooth in my experience in 11 years of playing online games.
So to anyone out there who else might read this lower you monitor refresh rate to 60 and try get your fps to 62+
Games i have played MOHAA 4 years
And all of the cods 1 2 and modern war fare
Cod was about fps you neeeded 125 250 333
Mohaa was about getting a stable 60 + fps that game was like a dvd movie, if you got that stable.
Anyone that has fooked about with there config so much now, reinstall your game theres alot of patches since the release. go back to default install. then tweak again. But test with out tweaking first
