Axis Recharge Screwy

I know this has come up before but no one has seemed to find the answer, the last time this came up they just said “I don’t know how it was fixed, but the problem went away”.

So on to my problem:

The Axis Soldier has no recharge time on his weapons. It only happens until the CP has been built by an Axis.

I have tried many things, including re-pasting the CP prefab and script into the map files, trying different lines of code at the game_manager spawn to see if I can force the recharge to be normal.

I am basically looking to see if anyone knows why this happens. The recharge bar visually still needs recharging but the weapons still fire.

If anyone knows the answer to this, please let me know.

Well I tried some more stuff and managed to get it working properly.

I added “setchargetimefactor 0 soldier 1” in the game manager setup.

The weird thing is, this was one of the first things I tried to remedy the problem, but it didn’t fix it the first time…oh well, im not complaining.

Can you reproduce this, when you remove the setchargetimefactor from where you added it?

If by reproducing you mean that if I comment out the line the problem persists, then yes.

If you mean, do I know what caused it, that would be no.

this is not a random occurence…
my map had the same problem… well, the fp which is running on servers now have it…
but i managed to repair it for the beta out soon.

how i repaired it… i dunno…

it seemed to fix itself as i ajusted stuff…

it has to do with cp and setchargetimefactor…
its a bug of some kind…

8 legged freaks…

or some kinda bug…

maybe it has 6 legs…

or maybe 5 and a half cause it lost a foot in a roach trap…

but a bug nonetheless…
