No, it’s not another Arena shooter so I’m not suggesting a direct competetitor for DB xP but there is another game that just went into alpha that I think every PC gamer should aware of right now called Rising Thunder. Although the link is to the page to sign up for it, it currently doesn’t give much information, you’ll have to go youtube hunting for it.

But, essentially it’s a PC-made fighting game. Now, I’m not an expert on fighters as I’ve been a PC player all my life and as you know, fighting games is, generally speaking, a genre most of us have been starved for, for the MOST part and any we have gotten has required us to buy a controller or fight stick to even partially enjoy, not even getting into all the terrible ports.

But this is something high quality, that can be enjoyed with an actual keyboard (if you’d like) and it’s managed to keep it’s depth and complexity. It’s fun and I’d highly recommend it and even if you don’t personally like it, I’d enjoy if you guys helped spread the word. As mentioned earlier it just went into an Alpha which you can sign up for via the link but, just like DB, this game is now a passion of mine and I’d love to see it grow. It’s in my eyes, a revolutionary concept for PC-fighting games and want it to catch on.

Hope you guys enjoy it

I remember reading a Kotaku article or something about this.

Firstly, the name of the game is straight up terrible. Whenever I see it, I think of a WWII Multiplayer Shooter, based around mostly vehicular combat. Then I remember, it’s that fighting game.

And secondly, I actually really want to try this. Fighting games have for a long time either been assigned to the niche few hardcore fans, or to the larger casual audience. It is nice to see that not only PC users get to have some fun, but also the revamped control scheme lets some scrubs have some fun.
