So…I accidentally hit some button that broke my entire map’s texture blocks into many more smaller ones and saved it…so my FPS went from 80 to 20. Is there some sort of reverse to this? CTRL+K doesnt work and neither does CSG Merge… >:(
Aw Crap...
Even if you saved, you still can Undo what you did… Though, Undo in radiant is not very reliable. If you can’t go back there’s a file called autosaved.bak with the last … autosaved content. There is also a <mapname>.bck which is a backup of the before last save. Failing all those options I do hope you made a manual backup that you put on CD or a different directory… If not… lots of manual labor is waiting for you.
Unless someone else think about something?
Oh Man…Thanks MadJack…My autosave was no good but my BAK file was…Your a lifesaver…If you lived in my neighbourhood I would take you out for a beer. :drink:
hmmmm… well, you live in the same country… who knows you might be close by and I might get my beer
actually related to this, is the *.bak file just a file that remembers wot u did last?
Nope. When you save, it takes deletes the .bak file, the actual <mapname>.map is renamed to .bak and it saves the current content as the usual .map.
I might be wrong but that’s how it goes from what I can understand.

Too far!
