No not at all. In fact, just laughing at how pathetic you are

Can you read all your previous posts and honestly tell me if that’s something a 24-year-old would say? HAH. Your constant use of the word “fail” and calling other people nerds. You. Are. Pathetic.

Killing, not to win, but to ensure a loss.

is it just me, or are the hardcore killzone 1337 pLaYeRzz generally pretty irritating?

dont take this http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/10/brink-review/ seriously. editor is obviously COD player.

Two or three of the Top 10 KZ2 players posted briefly in these forums over the past few months. So I think that theory is actually holding very true.

@AutomaticSnake: I apologize that there is too much teamwork for your refined Lone Wolf tastes. Perhaps you might watch a few episodes of the Wonder Pets, play a few hours and try to be the best team player that you can be, and then see how you feel?

I play killzone and post on their forums from time to time. The average KZ2 fan is OK. But a LOT of the hardcore/fanboy players think KZ2 is a deity and nothing on earth could ever beat it. It’s good but its not team orientated enough for me. Brink properly encourages teamplay, the way a good game should  Can’t wait to get my copy on Friday.

If I were SD I’d expect a public apology from Joystiq.

Same goes for IGN. Review is one giant truckload of skitsnack.

I am actually surprised. I was expecting better reviews.

But I understand why Brink is not getting that good reviews. Console games are expensive, which is why there has to be more content in the game than just a handful of multiplayer maps and couple of challenge missions. It just looks bad in comparison when other shooters out there are offering a whole variety of different gametypes and other content, in order to make sure that the gamers are getting their money’s worth.

One would have thought that the release of Brink would go fairly smoothly since the game already benefited from extended development time, and then the release date was even moved to an earlier date. No time wasted on beta or demo versions. But as far as I can tell, it has been far from a smooth release. The gaming press had to use flawed Xbox 360 version for their reviews, and many PC players are suffering from different issues which no doubt will be fixed. I once argued here in this forum that a public beta test would not be needed for this game, but it looks like Brink would have definitely needed one.

Modern Warfare 2 may not be the most balanced online shooter out there, but at least that game had plenty of content for players. Separate singleplayer, co-op, and multiplayer is much more than there is in Brink.

Still, I think that people who were expecting a better Enemy Territory game and nothing more will be happy with Brink.

Am i the only one who to be frank does not give a crap what reviewers says? or for say matter even read em, im the sort of gamer if i see somthing that interest me ill play and and be the judge myself. :stroggbanana:

(Herandar) #33

Nah. People that don’t care don’t post.

(ThePilgrim101) #34

As a console kid, I’m not at all surprised by the reviews it’s getting.

I am, however, shocked that journalists are rather subliminally comparing the game to other games out there and performing a ritualistic sacrifice. Need I remind everyone that IGN originally gave Two Worlds a 6.8? Someone Brink managed to fall below the glitchy, unpolished, horrible networking mess that was Two Worlds 2?

I don’t think it’s because everyone is addicted to CoD. I think it’s because journalists are really pushing this “games are art” thing to involve cinematic choices and blah blah, and then forgoing decent gameplay.

Oh well, I’ll have the game in a few hours and then I’ll know for sure.

Shut it boyo, your not a smartass. Back to the matter at hand, i care for the game just not the opinions of people who clearly dont.
