Autoexec.cfg

Is there a console command to dump your current config to a file like there was in ETQW? I’m hoping that there is so that we don’t have to go through the pain of finding out tiny bits at a time what the various cvars are.

If you open up the console with ctrl+alt+` (or the key on the left of 1 on you keyboard) you can type “WriteConfig filename” which will write part of the config to filename in the folder fs_userpath is pointing to (usually Steam\userdataUserID\22350\local\base).
This won’t dump all the CVars, but it should get you started.

Awesome thanks for the quick response! But your answer does beg the question will you eventually be publishing a list of cvars (and explanations) that would be useful that aren’t written by WriteConfig?
