Auto Kicked Then Banned From Server

So this happened …

I am currently tweaking my ShooterUI.ini moving HUD elements around reiteratively. I jump into a server, take a screenie, finish the match for daily mission tally, exit the game and tweak numbers in the .ini file before loading Dirty Bomb again to see the results.

A few matches in, I got booted out after shooting one time a few seconds in. Went to another server to play. Tried the previous server again after one was done and got that message in the screenshot.

Reporting it here coz I can only assume it’s a bug of some kind ?

Can you copy and paste the changes you made to the .ini? Its very likely a change you made got identified as a cheat/hack/unfairly advantageous modification.

Unlikely. I have had this happen to me before and I was never able to track it down. I have seen it happen once or twice since, but it was never reproducible. I have never modified my .ini. It is something server side.

Fluke it seems then.

File a ticket and move on seems like the answer, if it happens again, take notes on what happened prior. :slight_smile:
