Auto-Aiming?

Hey,

Is Brink gonna have an auto-aim system? Cause i hate auto-aim so much but ALL games seem to have it these days, its so rubbish!

If Brink does have autoaim id love a system like in RDR where people who use the autoaim function get a symbol next to there names when they make a kill so you know theyre using autoaim. I know this wont stop them using it but it makes me feel better knowing when i die from it.

And cause of all the awesome parkour stuff thats gonne be present in Brink i would put money on lots of people using it (on consoles anyway) :frowning:

The only thing close to auto-aim I’ve heard about was the fact that some SMART functions will give console players stick-acceleration. For instance: you do a wall jump and you get a temporary boost to your horizontal turn speed so that you can complete maneuvers that require you to do full or half turns.

I think aim assist is necessary for consoles. The average controller has twitchy analogs, and the aim assist helps the game feel like a “PC game” where the movements are accurate. If console games supported a Mouse and Keyboard I’d like to have it removed… but, I depend on it to have fun. Otherwise it feels like I’m playing with my left hand, and everything feels uncomfortable.
