Aus/Asia ranked servers moving to Singapore.

Has this actually happened yet? @RazielWarmonic @stayfreshshoe @Faraleth @dukemaroon any of you guys know?

I’m currently pinging 140ms to Asia, which is the same as I always have, which is fine and totally playable. Where ever it is right now is honestly fine for us. If it hasn’t moved to Singapore yet and does eventually move to Singapore it’s going to be worse for everyone in Australia and New Zealand.

This is my plea to please leave them where they are haha. It’s not great in it’s current state but I can 100% guarantee you if they move it will go from playable to totally unplayable for 90% of us.

Just some food for thought.

PS: Does the “estimated waiting time” live update? We fielded a team of 5 before with “estimated waiting time less than 10 minutes” but after 29 minutes we all got bored and moved to a pub server.

I’m pretty certain the servers that are live now, are the ranked ones that are here to stay. They are currently hosted in Singapore. I’m sure @RazielWarmonic can correct me if I’m wrong though.

I don’t think they’ve changed though. My ping is exactly the same as before (140ms). If they did move that is really odd because myself and all of New Zealand ping 350ms to almost everywhere in Singapore. I have for about 4 years or more now, so I don’t see how we don’t on Dirty Bomb

I still don’t understand how that’s possible though. I used to ping 140ms to Asia on Dirty Bomb, and I still ping 140ms to Asia. I’ve been pinging 350ms to Singapore forever, I ping 400+ to some parts of Singapore. I don’t see how the Dirty Bomb server location could be any different.

I guess we’ll see what they say when they see the messages tomorrow.

But I was playing ranked last night and my Australian mates were pinging closer to 200ms, which is exactly how they used to ping to Asia as well. I was the lowest of them all. The asian team we were playing all had 20ms pings. Hmm…
