Augment buffs (by upping the %)

There are a lot of Augments that have good ideas behind them, but that also have such a tiny impact on the game due to their low % increase.

  • Sneaky only gives you 10% quieter footsteps [I would increase to about 30-50%]
  • Healing Reach only gives Aura’s heal station a 15% wider radius [I would increase to about 30%]
  • Extra Supplies only gives you a 20% reduction to your support ability timers [I would increase to about 35%]
  • Spotter only increases Vassili’s motion sensor radius by 20% [I would increase to about 33%]
  • Explodydendron only increases explosives radius by 10% [I would increase to about 20%]
  • Steady only increases deployable’s health by 22% [I would increase to about 33%]

Obviously the extremities of these increases are debatable (don’t be too mean in the comments please  ) but I still think it’s clear that these augments could use a buff, even if it’s only by 5-10%.

Except Sneaky the rest is fine imho. You definitely don’t want gigantic turrets (steady), broken explosives that hit in a wide AOE (explodydendron) and gigantic AOE aura stations (those are fine as they are currently).

Speaking of Sneaky, as it is highly subjective, have people found Big Ears augment useful in the slightest? Are the “appropriate noises” audible even if increased in volume, when there’s so much explosions going around. If not that should definitely be in the “lets look into it” list of augments. But yeah, Sneaky could be upped, but the rest you mentioned here OP, not really.

Healing reach is nice as of now too, if upped more one could put it so far behind the corner that it’d be undestroydable unless flanked.

Extra supplies is pretty solid, specifically when you combine it with the bonus of direct-hitting supplies which also gives CD reduction (can’t be done with stations obviously I’m aware, but they can be picked up respectively).

HB sensors are spherical in the way they function, imagine the huge vertical possibilites now already for example in Bridge, and how much stronger it’d get with added radius.

Explodydendron, even more of it? Outch.

Turrets with health of Fragger doesn’t sound like a sweet idea to me.

I have actually found Big Ears to be useful - there are often times when I am using Vassili and I hidden out in the middle of nowhere, so it’s useful to be able to hear if someone is sneaking up on you. You can essentially know they’re coming 30% earlier than without Big Ears.

And yes, you COULD throw a motion sensor next to yourself, but then they know you’re around there. Best to throw your sensor in a location that helps the rest of your team anyway.
