Audio Stutter/Frame loss

I know that this has been an issue for some, and I have found a few threads relating to audio stuttering (Air strikes and explosions sounding as if there was four to five airstrikes going on during EVERY SINGLE explosion. Gunshots echoing and causing loss of frames.) However no one seems to be answering these threads. If there is someone who could explain a fix, or that could point me to a thread that would be able to help I would greatly appreciate it!

Specs:
Processor - AMD FX-8350 eight core processor
Graphics card - Asus R9 290 Series
Ram - 16 Gigs

set the audio quality to low, post if it helps

How do you do that? It’s not an option in the menu. I’m also having this issue.
