So I’m new to Dirty Bomb, but certainly not a noob to Splash Damage, long-time ET fan/player. Anyways, I’ve been having a problem with the audio. When I start up my PC the audio is fine (able to play music, videos, etc.). However, as soon as I start DB, there’s no audio. Neither menu music or gameplay audio. Then when I exit DB and go to my desktop, there’s no sound either. It’s almost as if starting DB screws around with some sort of audio setting. Then when I restart my computer, the audio works again. I don’t know what is going on since I cant seem to find the audio setting that is getting changed or whatever. Please help!
PS: Sometimes I start the game and the sound is fine. So go figure.
