Audio problem

I got a problem when I play sometimes game starts to lag and audio messes up like “dddddffffffeeeeennnndd ttttthhhheeeee oooooobbbbbjjjjeeecccctttttiiiiivvvvveeeee” and its so annoying help please (btw I have a beastly pc and a internet I can run other games on ultra-High)

restart game after some matches and/or get low graphics config is the only way to fix this

Restarting both the game and my laptop didn’t fix it for me.

Are you using an Intel CPU or Nvidia GPU by any chance?

I’m experiencing this currently, after playing for a while the audio starts to lag(crackle) and even the framerate starts stuttering. Both only get worse with time. Rebooting the game seems to “reset” it but having to reboot the game every 2-4 rounds is far from ideal…

I’ve updated my Realtek HD Audio drivers but it didn’t fix the problem.

I’ve got the crackling sounds issue too, if its anyhow related to this. And yes it only ever happens with dirty bomb.
Restarting the game actually won’t help, it fucks up my whole sound system up to until reboot.

it really seems to be a sound issue because opening up the console and using the killallsounds (found it on a stream) generally (not every time) works until the next skyhammer gets it’s day :P, it generally happens only with the Q ability for Skyhammer and the laser thingy (for me at least) maybe when more than one nadder go trigger happy but that’s just speculation on my part since i still hear the same big BOOM sound :smiley: . It slows all gameplay(sound, fps drops under 10 and so on…) until the sound stops repeating. It also has to do with hardware attrition as far as i can tell, so maybe low laptop specs :disappointed: (i.e. afther the 2’nd/3’rd game) but since it doesn’t happen within the first few games it’s shouldn’t be a visual thing. I also had a repro once on a first game but i did have my laptop on for 8 h allready. Point of the fact, i iz sad PLZ do soamthin Q_Q

P.S.: Miraculously, the problem with the fps drop also solves itself everytime when/after i get killed (which in 10 fps is no small feat lol)

I also have this problem… the sound will be choppy like “de fend th ob je tive”
