AUDIO Completely gone after update 6/6

After the latest update I have no sound in the menus or in-game. All my game audio settings are set for the highest and my windows sound settings are just as they were beforehand and work in other applications. The only other thing I did besides the update was I installed brink on another steam registered computer.

Is anyone else having this problem after the update? I know steam syncs game files between computers, is it possible steam synced something it shouldn’t have from my other installation?

My sound dies if I switch the output device when brink is running. Like connecting a headset to the frontpanel.

Maybe something like that?

First things first, we’ll need a DxDiag, condump and some details on what audio output hardware you’re using (brand, model). See the link in my sig for how to get that info.

OK, I uninstalled and reinstalled and updated and now it works. Have no idea what was wrong with it before.
