On the Xbox360, I like the awesome audio effects, but sometimes there are just some obvious audio hiccups. When there’s a lot of action on screen, and someone throws a grenade, the sounds get muffled (due to temp hearing loss), but there are a few crisp sounds that still sneak in, like gunfire crackle and other random noises (steps? ricochet?). If that is by design then disregard this part…
Also, the game audio completely dropped out and sounded like if someone was rapidly tapping on the mute button 3 or 4 times. Also happened after a large explosion near by. I was playing in a private match with 3 human teammates and the rest bots. It was during the 3rd Security mission.
I use the digital audio out into my Tritton AX720 head phones. 99% of the time, this game sounds eargasmic, but there are some weird hiccups here and there.
I will try to setup my cap machine to record myself playing Brink this weekend. No promises though. Busy weekend playing ice hockey and fixing my truck.
