attachtotag

I cant find a very good explanation of this in the manual, all it says is:
attachtotag <targetname> <tagname>
Connect this entity onto the tag of another entity.

Well attaching is easy, the hard part is getting the parts where u want em to be. Correct me if im wrong, but the “tag” is the center of the origin brush in the script_mover brush?

I cant find it in any of the scripts where u set distance and hight from the “tag”…

Going nuts over this…

The “tag” is a special marker in the model file. The best example is the tank with the turret/barrel/gun/various attachments. The only problem with the attachtotag command is that once you attach something you cannot undo it!

This is why most of the key objectives are models with “tags” so that they all glue together correctly. You will need a model viewer to have a look at the model file to see the “tag” points.

Is there a way to edit an models tag? Moving it? I have a great model, but the TAG seems to be way of…getting the GUN under my plane

Seems like the model i am using dont even have a .tag file…damn!

So as i cannot use that one…i am in deep need of a german ww2 plane, preferably a messerschmitt 262 so i dont need to have propellers rotating.
