attachtotag misc_mg42

Hi,

I wantto build a moving script mover with more than one mg42 on it, i tried to add a misc_mg42 with “attachtotag”, but it seems like it wont work. I can add script_movers or weapon_whatever to my moving script_mover and it works, but the misc_mg42 doesnt move.
Is it possible to add it? or is there mayby another way?

You could make 2 scriptmovers that are 2scriptmovers in one object. Something like a right and a left part. And then give it the same triggerareas and the same paths.

But why cant I attach the misc_mg42? What is the reason?

i don’t know it must be possible. maybe look into the .map of goldrush. There you have a mg42 i thought.

two mg42? in goldrush? but not attached to a script_mover that is moving !

The idea with the 2 script_mover with mounted_guns doesnt work. You can just use one mounted_gun because the other ones will redirect you to the last one you build. And even then it doesnt aim right, because it shoots with angle from the Mg42 yous selected before. There is a topic about this somewhere in the forum.
But I sitll would like to know why I cant “attachtotag” misc_mg42’s to script_movers
