ATI card performance issues. strange find

Hey all, i have been trying to sort this out since i got the game. with any video settings the FPS is all over the show from 10-60 (mainly below 30) i was playing around on the campaign, i was on day 6 of the blue campaign, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFJu3QG3tZY (not my video) from 7.53 to 8.23 when he gets to the top of the stairs, when ever i look at the section of the wall he is looking at with the window latch closed, the lighting changes and my frame rate picks up alot 10-60 to 70-90,if i had fraps or something would record it and put it on youtube so you could see. ill work on it.

any ideas would be much appreciated

system specs:
Athlon II X2 250
4GB DDR2
Saphire Radeon HD 5830 game edition
500GB hardrive
Win 7 home edition 64bit

Until ATI releases 11.6 drivers, use the low FPS config here: http://thebrink.tv/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=170

YOU MUST OPEN IT AND MAKE SOME CHANGES YOURSELF or you will have the wrong resolution settings, custom colors you may hate, gun hidden by default, etc.

It is labeled very clearly and easy to read so its np at all to do this.

Yea hope there on to it now. yea nice config i used the rush zone tool for a while, makes it playable fps wise still not getting above 60 in game though and its averaging about 25. its defiantly a deep rooted problem, its has something to do with a change in lighting for sure.

I think these lighting changes are because of disabled shadows. I think SD mentioned that the game is not optimised for disabling shadows and it could have artifacts like the ones you mention. (I have them too.)

sweet so im not the only one haha. surely they could have a fix out for this quick as.
