Assault/Soldier

Personally, I feel like soldier could be “fixed” by giving him more role specific class loadouts. At the moment the soldier just seems incredibly powerful in ALL ways. Fix that by giving him huge power in certain areas depending on the loadout - AOE Soldier, Disruption Soldier, OMG I have the best gun soldier. I’m sure people could think of more ideas.

Highly diversified class loadouts for the soldier might be interesting though. You could pick which one fits what your team needs, or which fits your play style.

Side note:
Concussion grenades. Hit them with the nerf stick please!

Just had a few rounds where people were throwing them all over the place (TDM). It deafens you + blind + damage + movement restriction = OP

2 of them bring you down to around 10% health if they’re both full hits and then you have no chance of retaliating.

After 2 games I had to stop, because I had a headache. Not sure if it was from the constant flashing or the constant stress caused by the frustration of not being able to do anything.

Also when the grenade explodes the audio cue can be heard from a rather large distance and drowns out other sounds.

It’s been discussed before, but smaller AOE on both flash/conc along with only carrying 1 and having a much longer c/d. They are incredibly spammable at the moment.

The class is staying, deal with it. SD have said what they want to do with the class, we’ve all already suggested ways to help that become a reality, just be patient, its Christmas.

Aggressive. Anyway I don’t mind if it does, just trying to explore all the options so later on down the line people aren’t going to say why didn’t anybody mention that.

As for being patient, I am. But I don’t think it’s a bad thing to question choices made, especially when it’s a core part of the game. As Anti- said in another topic even if I don’t want something at the end of the day if it clashes with SD’s vision they’re going to do it anyway. Which I absolutely fine with.
