I’m trying to figure out if it was used as SD intended, while I’m not seeing any Skybro single digit fully master the concept of Dirty Bomb I think this course is a great idea for something.
Essentially, did you like it or not? Why?

It’s good for practicing basic movements, some trickjumps, and giving ammo
For me, sometimes I do Assault Course to train my reflexes and hands, while waiting for any vacant rooms.
its nice, very good training.
the only thing i hate is that it doesnt show that accuracy is also counted towards your score.
I’d like to see one for Aura, and whatever Assault, Recon, and Engineer we get for free.
Actually though, if they replace some of the “Blue targets” on the course (like those on top of the crates) and change the “Airstrike target” to multiple blue targets (for placing Health Station) it would be good for Aura’s reviving and healing course.
I was thinking about SD creating assault courses tailored for each merc, Vassili has his own, Thunder has his own, Bushwhacker has his own, etc.
The concept would be to create concept courses for each merc to emphasize their strengths/weaknesses and difficulty. I know this would be low priority for SD at the moment but this wouldn’t be bad a system to get to understand mercs instead of new players buying Vassili and not knowing how to play properly.
Otherwise if SD wants they can give the tools needed to the community to help create courses that work, test the maps, deem if they’re worthy and can be added into the game.
shit, i never actually noticed how well that bit was shoehorned in
I feel like assault course is good for the basic player coming into DB but I also train my reflects in assault course when I first log on (sorry BLackBoltLW, i don’t know how to tag people yet.). I feel like assault course should have a more complex version to make people’s warm ups a little more of a warm up. As in normally I do assault course twice because its so basic. I would rather do 1 assault course that benefits me more with more complex jumps and shots. Sorry my explanation is a little hard to understand but I don’t know how to phrase it any other way.
imo it was a waste of resources to implement the assault-course. At least let us play it when we are playing the q-simulator for ranked.
Actually i rather would like to play a SP-campaign instead of the course and only when(!) the MP is done and polished. (Would pay for it)
It’s really good for someone who’s still learning how to do basic movements like the long jump and wall jumping, and even still works for people who need to brush up on their aiming and such.
Have you played DB a year ago? The amount of low level Skyhammers never dropping ammo was agonizing. These days ammo supply is much better, and I think this can to a large part be attributed to the assault course.
