Just looking at the Brink HUD… I wish fps with mini-maps/AOR compass etc. would all agree on a default location for it on the screen. ETQW has it at the top right, Halo in the middle, MW2 at the bottom left (these are just examples people, calm down)… you get used to looking in one place then get messed up when switching to another game. Just a personal pet peeve… carry on!

You mean they aren’t complying with the ANSI HUD standards? There’s I think is ISO compliant instead

Be good if we could modify the positions of HUD elements, I remember in ETPro there were alt HUD options to pick which was nice plus lots of options for individual bits.

Yeah I liked the HUD control in ETPro, especially being able to shove it off the bottom of the screen and remove individual elements, but still keep the kill text/obits for movie making instead of just plain ole cg_draw2d 0 and remove everything. A way of repositioning, resizing, removing certain elements and adding transparency to the HUD would be great… but I’m guessing, as always, that’ll be left in the ‘nice to have but not important’ pile.
