@HonourBound depends of the skill of the fragger.
a low skill fragger: pretty much anyone
medium skill (around mine id say): Speed mercs (Sparks/Aura/Proxy), high skilled RedEye, A Phantom ambush. but beware that some Fraggers (such as I) have mastered acounter technique agaisnt the fast mercs. i call it the “Fragslap”
Pro: Yeah…a pro fraggr is nearly unstopable…Enjoy you ass beating…unless you are a pro RedEye
@astoundingShellfish how does Redeye counteract fragger? maybe grandeur from long range?
what about a low skill fragger against a low skill vasilli, who would win?
@HonourBound A skiled RedEye can get the grandeur headshos from teh hip, thats really deadly agaisnt a fragger.
the low skill vassili would very likely lose
@astoundingShellfish hmm, might practise some redeye gameplay and let you know how effective I find it
Are there situations where it would be better not to cook the grenade?
I remember fighting this Phoenix on a plank leading to the delivery area in Trainyard’s last point. I accidentally threw the grenade too early and it fell down, but the Phoenix slipped and ended up getting blown by it. (Not that relevant to the question, just wanted to share.)
@streetwiseSailboat Yes there are, when you need it to go futrhter or just want to force the enemy out of cover
