i just wanna report that including me several asians on asia cant play on asian servers cause of the high ping, we’d rather use eu or aus servers to play. Most of us started experiencing this issue after " the classy art hole update" to be precise . Most players left cause of the new crafting system implemented in the game . But some of us still play this game cause its a lot more fun than several other F2p games out there. But i feel like the devs are using it to their advantage . Implementing new methods to get more loot . Im sorry to say this but this is what i feel .Some may disagree or flag this post but still … think abt it , rather than fixing these issues rather than fixing bugs they did “the classy art hole update” . For now, lets go back to asian servers ,yeah i thought the summer bug squash would solve the issue of asian servers having insane high pings (even higher than the US at times) ,many of us have reported the same issue last year regarding these unstable servers but no one responded and we were waiting for the first patch on August 18th, 2016. (16 UTC) and yeah as usual they are still unstable and it gives high ping. we are being ignored ? asians ? we need some servers to play you know . we’d really appreciate that . we need asian servers back . After all that you’ve done we still have hope that you guys will bring back the game. One year in beta and still we have unstable servers here. please take action on this issue asap. #play dirty

agreed I left the game because of the new crafting system ( I believe some players leave because of this reason too ) but I want to give the game a chance again when I first heard of the bugs fix, update, etc but when I got back in game and saw the number of Asia servers are so low, the ping are insanely high, about 250 ping on US West Server and 300+ on Asia server … before I quit the game usually I have about 180 ping on Asia servers and about 200 ping on US West servers.
last year the ping used to shoot randomly … but now its gone forever. one year in beta :neutral:

Hope you won’t come back. Cause if you leave a game not for it’s gameplay but a side mechanic with different coloured cards, you obviously don’t like this game.
Now to you OP.

Im sorry to say this but this is what i feel” What advantage do the devs get? The best cards are still in the shop for the same price as they were before the new system.
Now le’t talk about Asian servers. You say the ping is high and it’s a n issue. I’m not saying it can’t be Nexons fault. They might have bought cheap-ass servers who run at a snails speed and fuck up everyone even who is in the same town as them. But this is just a speculation.
OP, do you know what pings are and how they work? Are you sure the issue isn’t on your end because you have a bad internet connection or you’re far away from the servers location?
I am pretty sure Nexon doesn’t ignore “Asians”. But they can’t fix it easily by writing “fix asian ping bug” in the games code without enough informations on this. And this is the thing I assume. Nexon isn’t getting exact informations from the players on what’s actually going on. But if you actually filed a real report with informations that help them, I doubt they just ignore you since Nexon is not a noob on making free2play games for Asians coughHorrible cs1.6 clones with guns that have Jesus as scopecough and knows that the Asian market is a lucrative spot for income.

before I left the game ( which is the the classy art hole update ) I usually get around 100-180 on asia servers and around 200 ping on US west then I left the game ( tbh I was salty about the new crafting system that cost too much credits ) and then I get back to the game after I saw the video that they posted on youtube but I get around 300+ ping on Asia Servers and 250+ ping on US West Server ( idk tho … )
I’ve been playing Evolve Stage 2 and Rainbow 6 Siege since I left Dirty Bomb and on their servers I get decent ping around 60-100 ping ( yes sometime I encounter high ping server around 100-200 but its not that often like DB )
I’m playing on SEA GMT+7.

Those guys you mentioned still play. And if one person puts you off to the point where you label the whole community as toxic then you probably didn’t really want to stick around. I hope you enjoy the other games since that’s all that matters. I have passed along some info to try and get this looked into and see if anything changed (like server locations) at least.
I shouldn’t act like that and think 1 guy makes the whole community become toxic. I’m sorry, okay I’m gonna wait for more improvements, future updates thank you for your polite response.

Now, it’s 130-160
I can only suspect that they switched server hosts around that time
If I recall correctly, SD isn’t the ones managing the servers but Nexon?
After tracing one server’s ip, I found that its hosted at HK. I assume this is the cause of the ping jump?

I have the feeling you don’t understand what toxic means, nor have you seen real toxicity. I tried to explain stuff to you after you came here and ranted: “Nexon doesn’t give a shit about Asians! My ping is bad! Fix it!” If someone’s toxic here, it might be you, sorry. It’s not that easy to fix problems without precise informations on the problems, which you did not provide. For example, we don’t know where you live. This is a point that might help to see why you have the ping you have since Nexon knows where the servers were and where they’re now. And if the servers location changes, which is a possibility as I menationed, it is in fact your connection to them since the data has a longer distance to travel.
