Arty Health/Movement Speed Changes

I find it very strange that two mercs in this game have a similar primary ability (artillery/airstrike), have the EXACT same secondary ability (ammo packs), AND have the exact same movement speeds and health.

Just to differentiate Arty from Skyhammer a bit more, why don’t we change Arty’s health and speed stats? Perhaps we make Arty into a 130 health merc so he can be a bit more tanky than Skyhammer albeit slower, or go the other way and make Arty into a slightly more ‘glass cannon’ merc in comparison to Skyhammer?

Currently, Arty is built for a much more ranged approach to the whole Fire Support Specialist deal, while Skyhammer is definitely a lot closer and in your face. That, and their abilities. Skyhammer’s ability is, dare I say, not that good, with huge damage, but also insane cooldown and a very obvious call in time. It’s not so much for killing as it is for covering and destroying objectives.

But I personally would enjoy more health on Arty.

Lol but seriously I get that the two mercs are designed differently but those differences are only extremely slight.

And in terms of Arty’s ability being better towards players than EVs, I’m pretty sure everyone would prefer to use Fragger’s ability instead. Arty just seems way underpowered in comparison.

Arty is fine as he is at the moment.
The differences are more than just slight, the abilities (airstrike/artillery) are completely different and have different uses. Arty has for the most part other main weapons than Skyhammer.
Also I think Skyhammer’s ability is not as great as you think since if you miss the right moment for the airstrike, it will be on cooldown at important moments.

I don’t know why you think Fragger’s nades are better than Arty’s arty on EV’s but good luck with that you’ll be dead before you take half of the EV’s hp with your nades.

Someone said that Arty’s ability is an anti-infantry ability, whereas Skyhammer’s is not so much, so I said that I’m pretty sure Fragger wins in the anti-infantry explosive ability.
I’m so sick of having to repeat myself to people who don’t read carefully…

only buff arty needs is a small speed bump + 10hp nerf. He is the small asian versus skyhammer, he should be between kira and skyhammer in speed and health, which is where he was intended to fit anyway.

Or he could go the other way and have higher health and lower speed - he is the only merc with proper combat armour on after all.

Arty has some of the worst killing potential in the game currently, and while he isn’t a straight up assault class, it does show.

I dunno, Skyhammer is a much more offensive kind of merc.
