A little doubt I had about this card.

Now it is my understanding that:
Unshakeable = all explosions (including own)
Fail Safe = own explosions only
Does this mean on this card, own explosion reduction is 50%?

or does it mean
Original damage = 100%
Damage including unshakeable = 80%
Damage including both = 80% x 70% = 56%

You need to use the formula e=mc^2
Fail safe is not useful for Arty !!! if a player with arty gets hit by his own artillery strike then he must the Best of Best Noobs !!! By the way go for S72 loadout for arty it is the best if you love STARK AR !!!
@Xavien I think F=ma will be approachable to this concept …
the FORCE of damage you take from explosions is directly proportional to the MOMENTUM and ACCELERATION of the explosions

Option 3: it just takes the higher value:
Even if Failsafe adds flat 30% reduction to own explosions it’s nearly useless here. And Spares on a fire support merc? This loadout makes no sense.
I heard that both effects stack, that said… Fail Safe + Guy with a laser pointer to mark for far away targets, Wut…
That said, I’ve dropped an airstrike on myself, Arty’ll survive 2 bomblets but not the entirety or even half of the blast unless sprinting and were halfway before the rocket let out the bomblets.
This cards just pales in comparison to the Driess + Selbstadt + Cricket bat. Both have unshakable, but spares is useless because you can give yourself ammo and I hope you don’t hit yourself with a strike
