Lets discuss the Arnauld shotgun.
Arnauld Shotgun
Imo the Arnauld shotgun is the weakest shotgun out of the 3. I reckon the Arnauld needs a buff in one or more of these areas
- Damage (Fall Off Damage)
- Spread (Range)
- Reload speed
But, on the plus side it does an awesome spin when it reloads.
I wouldn’t go so far as to call it UP (it’s still a shotgun which with the empire-9 allows an effective playstyle) but it could use some minor buffs. A RoF buff was mentioned in another thread which would be very interesting, since all shotguns currently have the same RoF.

It’s not atypical shotgun-shotgun, I feel. It’s not very strong in CQC, but keeps that “strength” over medium-range, too.
According to the gamefiles, the wiki and my experience with Fletcha, it has a quite tight spread, medium-damage (so no one-hit-kills on any class, so far), and less dmg-dropoff over range than other shotguns.
So it shoots a tighter spread that keeps its damage over a longer range, whereas the other shotguns have a bigger spread and bigger damage, which is useful for CQC, bc. you can hit the enemy easier and deal moar dmg.
So the Ahnuld is a kinda “medium-range-shotgun”, you could say xD
I voted underpowered but since today’s patch is actually probably balanced, the “longer range shotgun”-effect was hardly noticeable but today’s patch added ~50% range increase

It’s now buffed in terms of range and it compensates for low damage compared to other shotguns

I meant to put balanced. I think the range buff is nice and it allows it to be used more effectively at longer distances in comparison to the other shotguns
