Hi everyone,
i am making a map for Jedi Academy and I get a nasty ingame error… 
first a scetch of my map/problem area:

RED = room/area border
YELLOW = area portal
GRAY = func_door
now my problem:
area portal number 1 (“AP#1”) works fine but area portal number 2 (“AP#2”) doesn’t.
i get a HOM effect in the next room, even if the door is closed :eek2:

i dunno what i did wrong… the area portal brushes are textured with skip except one side… i searched for an hour to find any hints or solutions and the only thing i found was a Quake2 tutorial… here (point 3 on the list)
but i dont want to change the doors position or anything on the map so there must be a solution/explanation…
i really hope someone can help me with that, thanks in advance
