Are you guys/girls having trouble with the Finish 6 Secondary Objectives?
It should be 4 not 6. There are simply not enough side objectives to bother with this.
Honestly, I think it should be:
1 star = Complete 2 secondary objectives.
2 star = Complete 3 secondary objectives.
3 star = Complete 4 secondary objectives.
Also, the requirement for “completing” a secondary objective should be changed. What I would suggest as the requirement for “completing” one should be:
- Defusing C4.
- Arming C4. (not required to detonate)
- Repairing a generator.
Of course, changing it to these (especially in the case of “arming C4”) you aren’t exactly “completing” it anymore, so perhaps a mission re-word may be needed. Perhaps “activate” or “initiate” instead of “complete”.
I should also note, right now it seems the only way you can complete these successfully is actually arming C4 and having it blow up… Which is harder than you might think in a lot of games.
I just skip them since they’re honestly too much of a hassle to complete, not worth the creds.
6 secondaries for 1000 credits is pretty easy credits, though. I think 2 for 500, 4 for 750 and 6 for 1k would be more appropriate overall. The only thing I can say as to actually having these missions is it’s a pain to have such a map specific mission. If you get an Underground game going where the teams are pretty balanced, you can get most if not all of it done there. It’s a nice idea to have variety in the missions, but I definitely understand why people are frustrated by this one.
I play mainly as a proxy and find the secondary objective missions easy but I understand that if you are not playing an objective specialist how it would be an annoying mission.
The problem I have with this one is that you may not be the only person that has the same identical mission, meaning that there are 1 or 2 other people on your team eyeing out those secondary objectives aswell, and prioritising them over anything else.
Competitive modes in AU servers are very rare… takes more than 10 mins to find a match.
EDIT: I think it’s actually broken.
In addition to being extremely map and teamperformance specific(eg on half the maps one side cant get even 1 point unless other side constructs something), secondaries can be completed only once, per whole team, per round.
Like on Underground each team can score max of 4 points per per team. Or maybe 6(for attackers), primaries seem to count as well, for some weird reason.
So, if player Red1 bombs generator and then player Blue1 repairs it, they get each 1 point. But any bombing/repairing after that, by any player, dosnt count.
Underground, Trainyard or Chapel work quite well, as an attacker, and best 6vs6 or with no other engi.
If you only got the secondary-mission left, simply search for a freshly started underground-attack-server. Leave, when you are getting put on the defteam, or switch if you can.
Still takes a few approaches/maps to finish the bigger ones, while you can even finish multiple 1000credit-xp-missions in a single stopwatch-game.
But as I think, they wanted to get rid of the serverhopping, it was bluntly a stupid idea to insert this kind of mission, after throwing out the win/play x maps to stop it. And yes, there are new ones for competetive, but you can’t hop servers there.
Yeah, poorly designed mission. Doesn’t really stimulate people to try and win the match either.
Sometimes I find an empty server with a friend, set to Underground, and do it that way if I can’t get it done in a reasonable time. B)
so many obj specialists running around trying to beat each other to them , 2 underground maps as attacker later i still havent got one of mine
I did 6 secondary objectives in 2 objective matches(8vs8).
It was pretty fast so why do all keep whining(unless all of those players have that mission
then you have a reason to whine) ??

Try to understand that other people have different experiences, you did it once, good for you but many people are struggling. There’s a number of variables in play and things don’t always go so smoothly for everyone else.
I wonder if SD log mission completion and if so then they’ll be able to see if most people are having trouble.

Well, I don’t have any problems with this mission because 90% of the time I reroll it 
…which I hope SD also logs and will take into consideration.
Same, I usually give it a go but I’d rather not alter my play to do something that may not benefit the team at that time so I never finish it and abandon when I’m done playing.
